Make Art Not War
Advocacy program for private groups and in a community setting.
Fee 6 hours group session, per person - $180 (includes most art materials)
This art workshop series is designed for all skill levels, novice through experienced. The intention is to take the time to reflect upon personal and collaborative activism while creating meaningful artworks that are powerful and accessible.
Participants will create original art works, workshops include: Portraits of Change - affirming, emotional and beautiful mixed media paintings that are a compassionate testimony to activism. Compatriot Flags - evocative artistic statements on being a unique American eg peace loving, pro rights, believer in diversity. Community Building and Public Art - group art works that evolve overtime and express the spirit and place of a community.
