In Search of Meaning #6 (of 11)

About In Search of Meaning

The In Search of Meaning project began through inspiration. On first viewing raw images that document particle physics Bubble Chamber experiments (conducted at the Stanford Linear Accelerator in the 1960’s), I was drawn to the elegant nature of the tracks as they cut across the space. Each of these tracks form unique territories, some curved, others angular, many spiraled.

These images reveal a minuscule galaxy that suggests the dawn of time. Working with multiple layers of traditional painting techniques, acrylic paints and gels I have created artworks that communicate permanence within a transient state.

As the original artworks tour, two limited editions of prints are available for purchase. Each Giclee print captures the depth and intensity of the hand painted artworks and are printed on conservation grade 100% acid free paper. For more information or to obtain a print, click on any image in the gallery.
